It sounds rather too interesting to be true. What is the source for this?

Thanks!

Paul Janse
Translator, Stravinsky lover and amateur violoncello playerPaul Jansehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03763377357794093812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4115433326707838301.post-49102709697967063472014-11-22T20:45:25.839-08:002014-11-22T20:45:25.839-08:00I wish I had heard you play it. One of my favorites was the piano version which I did not even know existed.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=coY03Igx9xA
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4115433326707838301.post-89377100313599644752013-04-16T10:41:47.877-07:002013-04-16T10:41:47.877-07:00Thank you so much, Scott, for your incredible comp...Thank you so much, Scott, for your incredible compliments! Congratulations again on the Rite performance. I was struck, as an audience member, how big and clear the solo was and at the same time haunting. I struggle with "perfect" performers, who play only notes correctly, and not give much else to the music or the performance. I am a firm believer of musicians who bring a new emotion or a character to life with solos. Your performance remind me how great music making can be when this is achieved. You gave every audience member in the sold out theater a Master Class on how to play the Rite of Spring Principal Bassoon Part. Congratulations again!
-Scott H.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05398201975517902590noreply@blogger.com
